Strategic session facilitation

When the strategic session at Lyvin Properties began, there was one goal — to move the company from a mode of «everyone is busy» to a mode of «everyone understands where we’re going and why.» We needed to build a shared vision, align roles, reach agreement on key questions — and do all of this without getting bogged down in details.

We weren’t just looking for a facilitator — we were looking for someone who could help turn chaos into a system, and carefully draw out from the owner and the team everything that had never been said out loud before. I remembered that Alexander was an option — and it turned out to be the right call.

The session started before its official beginning — with thorough preparation. Alexander conducted a series of interviews with participants, gathered all the pain points and growth areas, and created a space for an honest conversation, including between key people who had not always been on the same page before.

During the session itself:

  • long-term goals and objectives for 2025–2026 were defined;
  • a set of strategic initiatives was developed, three of which were worked through in detail down to the resource level;
  • we separately discussed how to establish order under conditions of limited resources and how to expand the resource base;
  • the key principles of teamwork and cross-functional collaboration were documented.

The most valuable outcome was that the team developed a shared field of understanding: why we exist, where we are going, and how each person affects the overall movement. People became more active, more deliberate, and started taking on more initiative. Not because they «had to,» but because they now understand how everything fits together and why it matters.

I would particularly like to note Alexander as a consultant: he works with precision, depth, and without unnecessary formality. He doesn’t just run the process — he steps in at the right moment with a management perspective, guides the discussion, and helps prevent it from sliding into generalities. At the same time, the atmosphere was calm, productive, and even enjoyable: the session was intensive, but without strain. Everything was to the point.

A.maze.S is the ideal choice for companies that want to move toward their goals with intention — not just through the efforts of the leadership, but through the whole company.

For me personally, it was very valuable to simply talk with someone who understands how business works and can calmly help you put everything in its proper place. That is something that is often missing in day-to-day operations — a genuine conversation partner on management questions. Here, that person was present.
